The LMH Specialty Pharmacy provides support to patients with complex, chronic, and rare conditions. Patients managing challenging conditions are often prescribed specialty medications which are not available at traditional retail pharmacies due to specific storage and careful dispensing requirements, and close monitoring for side effects. The LMH Specialty Pharmacy will further LMHS' mission to improve the health of the community by ensuring that patients and caregivers receive the guidance and support needed to be successful with their treatment.

Clinical Care
Our qualified clinical team is here to support you throughout your journey. Before your prescription is filled, a staff member will call you to review your condition and discuss your medications. We will review dosing instructions, drug interactions, and potential side effects. You will receive follow-up calls to document any challenges that you experience and how we can improve your care.

Convenient Fulfillment
If you are prescribed a specialty medication, your provider will send your prescription directly to the LMH Specialty Pharmacy. Our pharmacists will quickly fill your prescription so you can begin taking your medication sooner and feel better faster. You may choose to pick up your prescription from the Pharmacy or have it conveniently mailed to your home at no cost to you.

Comprehensive Support
The LMH Specialty Pharmacy will help you to manage medication expenses and make sure treatment is affordable. Benefit coordinators conduct investigations to confirm insurance coverage, and we contact your insurance provider for pre-authorization when necessary. We offer financial assistance programs and help with enrollment if you need additional support.
