Visitors
We realize the important supportive role that friends and family can play in your care. To accommodate the needs of our visitors, Licking Memorial Hospital offers open visitation 24 hours a day. Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., visitors should enter through the Hospital’s main entrance. A volunteer receptionist may be available to help direct you to your desired destination. After hours, visitors should enter through the Emergency Department entrance.

Waiting Areas
While you are visiting, waiting areas are available in the:

  • Emergency Department
  • Maternal Child - third floor, immediately off the visitor elevators
  • The John & Mary Alford Pavilion - first and second floors
  • Intensive Care - second floor, left off the visitor elevators
  • Medical Surgical Units - seating areas at the end of most hallways

Parking
Parking is free of charge. Handicapped parking also is clearly marked in the main parking lot.

Device Charging Stations
Two ChargeItSpot kiosks are available for visitors to securely charge any mobile device – iPhone, Android, Windows, Blackberry – at no cost. Each station includes eight locking chambers with a variety of adapters where phones can be charged securely. The lockers have been rigorously tested to withstand forceful entry and are monitored remotely. The kiosks have been placed in the waiting rooms in Surgery and the Emergency Department.
