Licking Memorial Hospital (LMH) offers the neurodiagnostic services of routine and special EEG (electroencephalographic) recordings for both outpatients and inpatients. An EEG recording is a painless procedure that provides a physician with important information about the health and function of the brain by detecting and recording electrical impulses.

Our staff of trained EEG technologists performs procedures on patients age 18 and older. Neurologists on the LMH Medical Staff are specially trained in reading EEG reports and interpreting these studies. Specific information on preparing for an EEG is available through your physician's office and the EEG Lab.
