Licking Memorial Hospital will host a Cancer Survivors Picnic on Monday, August 23, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., to celebrate and acknowledge all cancer survivors and their families.

The Cancer Survivors Picnic is an annual event that honors community members for their fight against cancer.  At the event, cancer survivors and their families are treated to a picnic on the grounds of Licking Memorial Medical Campus, located at 1717 West Main Street in Newark. The goal of the picnic is to recognize cancer survivors for facing their disease with courage, determination and a positive attitude, as well as friends and family who supported them during the battle.
