YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) Leadership Council (YLC) of Licking County is an award-winning youth-led prevention project comprised of high school students who collectively work to help make Licking County a happy, healthy, safe and drug-free place to live, work and attend school. Through prevention education, leadership development, civic engagement and community service, the YLC strives to educate and inform parents, professionals and their peers about the dangers of substance use/abuse and violence. To apply: You must be a current 9th, 10th or 11th grade student in Licking County. You must commit to live and promote a non-violence and drug-free lifestyle. You must want to make a difference in your school, community and neighborhood. An application, letter of intent and three (3) letters of reference must be submitted by the deadline as noted in the application.
