Join Phillip Savage, D.O., for an informative program on sepsis, Tuesday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m., in the Licking Memorial Hospital First Floor Conference Rooms.
Sepsis is in the news, most recently as the cause of death of two well-known celebrities. Death from sepsis is on the rise, bringing national attention to a formerly little-known, but potentially deadly disease. Death statistics from sepsis are striking – forty percent of people diagnosed with severe sepsis do not survive and others are left to deal with long-term physical and psychological impairments. Effective treatments are available, but must be provided early in the course of the illness. Join Phillip Savage, D.O., for an informative program on sepsis, Tuesday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m., in the Licking Memorial Hospital First Floor Conference Rooms. The education program is free; however, registration is required, and space is limited. To register please visit at www.LMHealth.org or call (220) 564-2527.
