Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) will celebrate the 45th Annual National EMS Week May 19 through 25.  In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to recognize EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities.  The 2019 EMS Week theme is Beyond the Call.  The week is a time to show appreciation to Emergency Medical Services personnel for the significant role they play in healthcare and honor their dedication to offering day-to-day lifesaving services.  LMHS appreciates the outstanding partnership provided for patient care.
