Community Education: Healthier for Life
February 21, 2025
Licking Memorial Health Systems invites the community to participate in Community Education: Healthier for Life in March. The event is a four-part program held on four consecutive weeks, Wednesday, March 5, Tuesday, March 11, and Wednesdays, March 19 and March 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Licking Memorial Hospital First Floor Conference Room. Dietitian Jen Hartman, R.D.N., Patient Educator Meghan Rine, B.S.N., R.N., and Physical Therapist Assistant Erika Wills, P.T.A., will offer information about making small, positive changes that lead to a healthier lifestyle. Participants who have not attended the classes in the past should plan to attend all four sessions.
Over the course of four weeks, attendees will learn how to successfully create consistent habits through discussion about motivation, exercise, menu planning, disease management and prevention, and more. Participants who complete this program will gain a better understanding of how small changes impact long-term success. The program is free; however, registration is required, and space is limited. A meal will be provided for all participants each night of the program. To register, please call the Licking Memorial Events Line at (220) 564-1560.
