Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) will host a Walk with a Doc event on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.  Gurunanthan Palani, M.D., of Licking Memorial Endocrinology, will lead a discussion and answer general questions about thyroid disease during a casual,
40-minute walk at the Licking County Family YMCA in Newark.    
 
Healthy snacks and blood pressure screenings will be provided.  This event is free; however, registration is required.  To register for the walk, please call the Licking Memorial Events Line at (220) 564-1560.  The Licking County Family YMCA is located at 470 West Church Street in Newark.
