Licking Memorial Health Systems is pleased to announce the addition of Pathologist Yumei Chen, M.D., PhD., to Licking Memorial Pathology.  Pathologists at Licking Memorial Pathology provide anatomical and surgical pathology, review of cytology screening, and are available for consultation to the Clinical Laboratory and medical staff.
 
Dr. Chen received her medical degree from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  Dr. Chen completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, and a molecular genetic pathology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri.  She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and molecular genetic pathology.
