Licking Memorial Heart Center is pleased to announce the addition of Cardiologist Fikadu G. Tekleyes.  Dr. Tekleyes received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  He completed an internship at Addis Ababa University and a residency in internal medicine at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia.  He also completed a cardiovascular imaging and research fellowship at Piedmont Heart Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as a cardiovascular fellowship at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.  Dr. Tekleyes is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular computed tomography.

Licking Memorial Heart Center, located on Licking Memorial Hospital’s first floor, provides a wide range of Hospital and office-based cardiology services.  Dr. Tekleyes is accepting new patients with a physician’s referral.  Appointments are available by calling (220) 564-7750.
